Terms & Conditions – Cell Guard

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Cell Guard (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including device repair services, sales, and any interactions with our store, staff, or website. By engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services
Cell Guard provides repair services for mobile devices, tablets, computers, and accessories.
Service timelines, pricing, and outcomes may vary depending on device condition, parts availability, and diagnostic results.
We reserve the right to refuse service for any device that presents safety, legal, or viability concerns.
3. Customer Responsibilities
By submitting a device for repair, you confirm that:
- You are the legal owner or have full authorization to request repairs.
- You have backed up important data before service.
- You understand that data loss may occur during diagnostics or repair.
- You have removed passwords, locks, or provided access codes when required for testing.
Cell Guard is not responsible for data loss or software corruption.
4. Diagnostics & Estimates
Initial diagnostics may require opening or testing the device.
Estimates provided before service are approximate. Actual costs may vary depending on:
- Additional hidden damage
- Part availability
- Final diagnostic findings
We will notify the customer before proceeding if additional charges apply.
5. Parts & Warranty
We may use:
- New OEM parts
- High-quality aftermarket parts
- Refurbished components (only with customer knowledge)
Warranty Terms
Warranties apply only to the specific part replaced and/or service performed and do not cover:
- Physical damage
- Water or liquid exposure
- Tampering by the customer or third parties
- Software issues not related to the repair
- Devices with structural damage that cause repeat failure of the replaced part
Warranty period varies by service and will be communicated during checkout.
6. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cell Guard is not liable for:
- Loss of data or files
- Future device malfunctions unrelated to the repair
- Damage due to existing device conditions (e.g., bent frames, swollen batteries, prior repairs)
- Loss of device functionality due to manufacturer security updates
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service performed.
7. Unclaimed Devices
Devices left unclaimed for 60 days after notification of completion may be considered abandoned.
We reserve the right to recycle, resell, or dispose of abandoned devices to recover service and storage costs.
8. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service.
We accept cash, card, and other methods as available in-store.
Refunds are provided only when:
- A service cannot be completed, or
- A part is unavailable after payment is taken.
No refunds for completed repairs unless required by local laws.
9. Device Warranty Seal / Waterproofing
Opening a device may void its manufacturer warranty or reduce its water resistance rating.
By allowing Cell Guard to open or service the device, you accept these risks.
10. Customer Data & Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to our data handling practices.

11. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, logos, and materials related to Cell Guard are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any material without written permission.
12. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute:
- Customers agree to attempt resolution directly with Cell Guard first.
- If unresolved, disputes will be handled under local laws of the State of New Jersey.
13. Changes to These Terms
Cell Guard may update these Terms at any time.
Changes become effective upon posting or customer notification.
